How to use this calculator
- Add a leg with its decimal odds and place fraction (default 1/4).
- Mark each leg as W (won), P (placed only), or L (lost).
- Enter your each-way unit stake — total stake is 2× that.
- The win and place returns appear separately.
Worked example
Three legs at 5.0, 8.0, 11.0, each with 1/4 odds and 3 places. £5 each-way (£10 total) — if all three place, the place acca pays at (1 + (5-1)/4) × (1 + (8-1)/4) × (1 + (11-1)/4) = 2.0 × 2.75 × 3.5 = 19.25 × £5 = £96.25.
Common questions
What is the place part priced at?
Each leg becomes (odds-1) × fraction + 1. So 11/1 at 1/4 odds becomes ((11-1)/4)+1 = 3.5 in decimal.
Should I bet each-way accas?
Only on selections where the place market has real value. For favourites at short odds, each-way usually loses money long-term.
